Cricket Turf Pitch Black Clay​
Cricket pitches and their soils have specific requirements. These are much different to what is required on most other turf surfaces. Soils are made out of sand, silt and clay. A clay soil with grass cover is needed to create a flat hard cricket pitch
- Cricket pitch soil with high clay content-50% to 70%
- Clay particles are below 0.002 of a millimeter in size, or 2 microns
- 400 cu. ft. of raw chay
- Cricket pitch soil with high clay content-50% to 70%

- 50 kg bag of fine top dressing clay
Cemented Cricket Pitch Construction
Specification:
The cemented cricket practice pitch will be constructed in accordance with international standards using the following process:
1. Digging will be done up to 5″ deep. 2. Leveling, Dressing, Earth cutting will be done for Cricket Cemented Practice Pitch.
Thereafter, the following processes will be done to make the pitch as per international standards.
A] Layer of blast 5″ thick
B] RCC layer up to 4″
C] Cemented layer
